Beara GAA Strategic review meeting.

October 25, 2019

This Saturday will be a very important date for the future of Beara GAA as an open public meeting will be held In Beara Community School at 6pm. The meeting will form part of the strategic review Beara GAA are currently undertaking to review football in the division. The purpose of the review is to put a plan in place for the development of Gaelic Football in Beara for the years ahead. The meeting will be facilitated by Michael Byrne (Munster Council GAA delegate and former Cork GAA Development Officer) Also attending will be Cork GAA Football Co-Ordinator Conor Counihan. Conor will meet with all adult players in Beara from all grades who wish to attend at 5.30pm.

It is imperative that, at this meeting, that all the views of all people who have an interest in the playing and administration of Gaelic Football on the peninsula are gathered. It would be hoped that a full cross section of Beara people would be in attendance. This meeting is open to anyone from the ages of 18 upwards. The opinions and inputs from our younger generation will be gathered through their secondary school. The topics to be discussed at the meeting are underage structures, adult structures, coaching and games development, administration, finance and fundraising.
